Polyester is a type of materials with good UV resistant, so its lifespan is much longer than polypropylene and polyethylene. It’s high strength with very low stretch, and retain strength when wet outdoor, and non conductive to electricity.
It is supple and easy to work with making nice tight knots but as the rope is so supple it allows knots to be undone when required. So this couple of years, polyester rope is more and more popular by many high poly-tunnel and commercial greenhouse growers.
